Attendees will learn about the Miyawaki method of afforestation and how healthy forests work. Anyone participating in open-source projects has the level of engagement needed to attend this talk. The intent of the session is to allow attendees to be insightful regarding their project and its culture, become more self-aware and think about actions that can be taken to improve their ecosystems.
Objective of the presentation:
To discuss how to foster a healthy open-source project by looking and listening to a forest ecosystem while in the process sharing the experience of directing a non-profit that creates newly afforested sites in urban areas and how to apply the Miyawaki method for a fast-growing healthy mini-forest.
