
Join us on Monday, October 16, 2023 to celebrate Community Day during EclipseCon! This day is dedicated to showcasing the incredible diversity of projects we host within our community. And the best part is that anyone can participate.
Community Day is all about bringing together like-minded individuals, passionate experts, and curious minds from all walks of life. Whether you are a developer, a tech enthusiast, or simply eager to learn more about the many projects hosted at the Eclipse Foundation, this event offers something for everyone.
Why Participate in Community Day?
Here are just some of the reasons for joining Community Day:
- Get together with your group for a meeting, project update, workshop, presentation, or panel discussion
- Grow your community by inviting others to learn about and join your group
- Highlight your technology and Eclipse projects to gain visibility in the broader Eclipse community
- Benefit from the promotion that the Foundation marketing team will be doing for Community Day
How to Register
To participate in Community Day, register for an All-Access Pass for EclipseCon, or register for a Community Day Only pass. The registration fee varies with the type of pass. For more information, visit the Registration page.
Community Day Venues
We will be using multiple venues for Community Day. Most sessions will be in our main conference venue, the Forum am Schlosspark. A few sessions will be in adjacent venues that are within a two-minute walk of the Forum. Exact locations will be added to the schedule by early October.

Meet & Greet
To end Community Day and kick off the rest of the conference, plan to attend the Meet & Greet. This is especially aimed at new attendees, but everyone is welcome. This year's Meet & Greet is hosted by Eclipse Industry Collaborations. You will be able to meet representatives from working groups and interest groups and learn more about what these communities are doing.
Power-up Lounge
Throughout the week, the ground floor foyer is set up with tables, power strips, and wired lines. On Community Day, some tables may be reserved as gathering or hacking spots for groups.
