Eclipse based applications use SWT as widget toolkit. SWT has built-in support for high resolution displays that also includes high resolution graphics.

I will give tips and tricks I have collected during my endeavor to make the icons of the Eclipse project look nice on high resolution displays.

I will give an overview what needs to be done so that your Eclipse based application looks good on todays high resolution displays (like the macBook's Retina displays or 4K displays). Special focus will be on what needs to be done so that icons and over graphics are not blurry but crisp.
