Jakarta RESTful Web Services (aka JAX-RS) is one of the more active and popular APIs in the Jakarta EE family. As RESTful services continue to dominate as the communication choice for microservice architectures as well as public facing APIs, it is vital to learn about Java's premier API for creating and consuming RESTful services.
