Philip Langer

Philip Langer is CEO of EclipseSource in Austria, supporting companies in architecting and developing custom IDEs, domain-specific tools and modeling environments with his extensive experience on Eclipse tool platforms and modeling technologies. His current focus is on frameworks for web-based cloud IDEs, graphical modeling tools and custom C/C++ tools. Philip is the co-founder and project lead of several successful open source technologies at the Eclipse Foundation, such as Eclipse GLSP, EMF.cloud and CDT Cloud, as well as an active committer of Theia, Sprotty and EMF technologies.
Martin Lippert

Martin works at Pivotal on developer tooling for the Spring framework and cloud platforms. He co-leads the team that ships all the Spring Tools for Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Theia, and more, the Cloud Foundry Integration for Eclipse, AJDT, AspectJ, and is researching and implementing future cloud-based developer tooling. He served as member of the program committee for various conferences and gave talks and demos at numerous international conferences.

Johannes Matheis

Dr. Johannes Matheis is Senior Manager at Vector Informatik GmbH. He currently leads the software development group of PREEvision. Johannes graduated with a diploma in Computer Science in 2004, and while working as a developer in the start-up aquintos he subsequently completed his PhD at KIT (Karlsruher Institute for Technology). His areas of special interest include “model-based software engineering” and software development in Java. Since September 2021 he has served as a steering committee member on the Eclipse IDE WG.
Pierantonio Merlino

Pierantonio Merlino was born in Udine, Italy, in 1980. He graduated in Electronic Engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of Udine, Italy, in 2005 and he received a Ph.D. degree at the same University in 2009. After several years in hardware research, he switched to software development. He joined Eurotech in 2014 and started working on ESF. He is Eclipse Kura committer since 2015.
