The proliferation of IoT devices has led to a surge not only in sensor data, but also in data access mechanisms. To effectively harness this data and enable seamless interoperability between different IoT platforms, it is crucial to adhere to open standards. This talk aims to showcase how the modular design of Eclipse sensiNact allows a new OGC SensorThings API to be rapidly developed and integrated with the sensiNact gateway core.

Attendees will gain insights into the modular design principles and architecture behind Eclipse sensiNact, and how “sensing” model maps to the OGC SensorThings API, including its key components such as Things, Sensors, and Observations. We will delve into the technical implementation details, highlighting the integration of both REST and MQTT access to sensor data.

Join us and be inspired to contribute to the thriving Eclipse IoT community.

Objective of the presentation:
To give a brief presentation of the Eclipse sensiNact project and to describe how we constructed a new set of modules in Eclipse SensiNact to provide its model to clients using the OGC SensorThings standard API.
