Our session will provide an overview of SW360's functionalities, highlighting its role as an end-to-end software component management solution. We will outline its core features and discuss the benefits it offers to organizations in managing their software assets.

The heart of our session lies in comparing the application of SW360 within two diverse corporations: Siemens and Toshiba. We will discuss how both companies utilize SW360, emphasizing the tool's adaptability to different environments and its ability to cater to unique organizational needs. We will share insights into the integration of region-specific information and the linkage with internal systems.

We will also talk about the latest feature; the CycloneDX SBOM importer and Package portlet, designed specifically to address the latest requirements of SBOM management.

By the end of the session, attendees will not only have a sound understanding of SW360 and its general functionalities, but also a clear picture of how it can be customized and effectively utilized within their organization. They will take away inspiration and practical knowledge to leverage SW360 for their own software component management requirements.
