I've been working as a software engineer on machine-to-machine related tasks since 1999. Over the years, I’ve progressed with the industry towards what is now called the IoT. I’ve always been a fan of open source and helped to conceive the Eclipse IoT top-level project. Although I'm a contributor to numerous open source projects, it’s Eclipse IoT and Eclipse Hono where I feel most at home.

Nedelcho Delchev is Development Architect at SAP Labs Bulgaria in Development Experience & Research for SAP Cloud Platform. He has experience in various programming languages, technologies and architectural styles. After that participated to several Eclipse-based projects for different vendors.
Also designed and implemented a number of customer-specific RCPs as a contractor.
Some years ago switched to consulting on architecture and development for Eclipse-based solutions.
Dr. Udo Hafermann obtained a diploma in Computer Science at the Technical University of Braunschweig and a doctorate in Computer Science. He then joined Software AG’s research facilities in Darmstadt where he successively held positions as project lead, team lead and architect of XML solutions. Currently, Dr. Hafermann acts as project lead, product owner and principal architect in the design-time tools and web user experience area. He represents Software AG at Eclipse organizations and events and serves on the Board of Directors of the OSGi Alliance.
