The Embedded Tools Summit is a half-day, informal tethering of Eclipse embedded tools developers and users. Eclipse hosts number of embedded tools such as C/C++ Development Tools, TraceCompass, Linux Tools, and Amalthea that are used extensively in industry and research institutes. The goal of the summit is to collaborate and drive the future direction of embedded tools.
The summit will focus on key issues within the CDT development and interesting developments for both the current and future roadmaps of Embedded Tools, such as the language server protocol, debug server protocol, and improved managed core build implementations.
The morning session will focus on these things. The afternoon session will take place in the Power Up Lounge in the foyer, bringing together as many CDT committers and contributors as possible to discuss current status of bugs, ongoing development, and how to manage new issues and work in the future.
The agenda is being planned on the summit wiki page (https://wiki.eclipse.org/ECE_EmbeddedToolsSummit2018). We encourage you to take an active role in planning the day by contributing to the wiki page. The agenda is open to contribution from all. Please update and register your interest.
