Hosted by the OpenHW Europe Working Group, this Birds of a Feather session will provide an open, interactive discussion to explore the Open-Source HW IP (cores, sensors, PDK libraries, etc.) activities underway within the EU. Topics for discussion will include: 1 – the free and open RISC-V ISA; 2 – Open-Source controller class processor cores implementing the RISC-V ISA; 3 – Permissive Open-Source HW IP Licensing considerations; 4 – Open-Source HW IP quality; and 5 – Ecosystem maturity and Roadmap considerations for Open-Source HW IP.
