This year we will be hosting theme days for two Eclipse Working Groups, M2M and PolarSys, plus a theme day for Java 8 and for the Vert.x project.

The new release of Java 8 will be available in March 2014. To celebrate, the Eclipse Foundation and Oracle are hosting a Java 8 Day at EclipseCon 2014. This will be a great opportunity for Java developers to learn about the new Java 8 features and share in the excitement of the Java 8 launch.

An opportunity to learn about the open source tools for embedded systems development that are being created by the PolarSys Working Group. PolarSys is a collaboration between large system engineering and aerospace companies like Airbus, Ericsson and Thales.

EclipseCon attendees with an All-Access Pass may attend the talks included in the theme days. If you're only interested in attending a theme day, we have one day passes available for only $200.

Important: Theme day pass holders will only have access to the keynote session, theme day track, lunch and the evening activity on that specific day. They will NOT have access to any other EclipseCon session.
