The Eclipse AGAIL (Adaptative GatewAys for dIverse muLtiple environments) builds a modular and adaptive gateway for IoT devices. Modularity at the hardware level provides support for various wireless and wired IoT networking technologies (e.g. Bluetooth Low Energy, ZigBee, LoRa, etc.) and allows fast prototyping of IoT solutions for various domains (e.g. home automation, environment monitoring, wearables, etc.).
In this session, you will get an introduction to the AGILE framework and to its extensible software architecture, and learn how to use it to manage and control your connected devices and your IoT data locally. We will then show you how to create and run IoT applications while also connecting to an external cloud with custom connectivity.
We plan to extend that with examples to have a good overview of AGILE’s capabilities and use cases.
