Agile Logo

Agile builds a modular and adaptive gateway for Internet of Things devices. Modularity at the hardware level provides support for various wireless and wired IoT networking technologies (KNX, ZWave, ZigBee, Bluetooth Low Energy, etc.). It allows fast prototyping of IoT Solutions for various domains (eg. home automation, environment monitoring, wearables, etc.). At the software level, different components enable new features: data collection and management on the gateway, intuitive interface for device management, visual workflow editor for creating IoT apps with less coding, and an IoT marketplace for installing IoT apps locally.

AMASS (Architecture-driven, Multi-concern and Seamless Assurance and Certification of Cyber-Physical Systems) will create and consolidate the de-facto European-wide open tool platform, ecosystem, and self-sustainable community for assurance and certification of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) in the largest industrial vertical markets including automotive, railway, aerospace, space, energy. The ultimate goal of AMASS is to lower certification costs for CPS in face of rapidly changing features and market needs. This will be achieved by establishing a novel holistic and reuse-oriented approach for architecture-driven assurance (fully compatible with standards such as AUTOSAR and IMA), multi-concern assurance (for co-analysis and co-assurance of e.g. security and safety aspects), and for seamless interoperability between assurance and engineering activities along with third-party activities (e.g. external assessments and supplier assurance).

Eclipse APP4MC is a platform for engineering embedded multi- and many-core software systems. The platform enables the creation and management of complex tool chains including simulation and validation. As an open platform, proven in the automotive sector by Bosch and their partners, it supports interoperability and extensibility and unifies data exchange in cross-organizational projects.

The Amalthea platform allows users to distribute data and tasks to the target hardware platforms, with the focus on optimization of timing and scheduling. It addresses the need for new tools and techniques to make effective use of the level of parallelism in this environment.

bIoTope Logo

The Internet of Things (IoT) brings opportunities to create new services and products, reducing costs for societies, and changing how services are sold and consumed. A critical obstacle to further IoT innovation is the “vertical silos” that shape today’s IoT landscape. These silos impede the creation of cross-industry, cross-platform and cross-organisational services due to their lack of interoperability and openness.

bIoTope lays the foundation for creating open innovation ecosystems by providing a platform that enables companies to easily create new IoT systems and to rapidly harness available information using advanced Systems-of-Systems (SoS) capabilities for Connected Smart Objects – with minimal investment.

Crossminer Logo

Helping software developers select the right open source components. CROSSMINER supports the development of software systems for a wide range of applications and provides techniques and tools for extracting knowledge from existing open source components, and to use this knowledge to select and reuse the best existing software to develop new systems. Selected open source components are monitored to raise alerts related to quality, and to give suggestions to reduce development effort and increase the quality of new software products.

RobMoSys Logo

  • RobMoSys envisions an integrated approach built on top of the current code-centric robotic platforms, by applying model-driven methods and tools.
  • it will enable the management of the interfaces between different robotics-related domains in an efficient and systematic way according to each system’s needs.
  • it aims to establish Quality-of-Service properties, enabling a composition-oriented approach while preserving modularity.
  • it will drive the non-competitive part of building a professional quality ecosystem by encouraging the community involvement.
  • it will elaborate many of the common robot functionalities based on broad involvement of the community via two Open Calls.
