Starting an Open Source Project at the Eclipse Foundation

This session has been declined by the session moderation team.

Code is very important for an open source project. All Eclipse Foundation-hosted projects are expected to have code; but the responsibilities extend far beyond having code in a publicly-accessible source code repository. Attend this talk to learn about what you need to know to create and run a successful open source project at the Eclipse Foundation.

I could merge them if there was more time available, but there's really no overlap between them. Given a choice, I'd drop this proposal in favour of the the Committer Orientation talk. Olivier's talk is--in my view--complementary to the orientation talk: it is from the perspective of a contributor. Contributors and committers need to know different sorts of things.
