If you are interested in managing data in microservices and machine learning but have never used Eclipse January in anger, this session is for you. We will detail how to import Eclipse January into your microservice or Java project using gradle and maven, reading and holding data in memory, multi-dimensional arrays, manipulating in memory, mathematical operations available and how it compares to python.
In the second half we will show how Eclipse January is being used to manage data and run it with machine learning written in python. It will detail a real world application for an oil and gas company which injests multi-dimensional data, transposes it and executes an algorithm in another microservice.
Objective of the presentation:
The objective is to present what Eclipse January is, to give the attendee an overview of how it can be used and what its technical advantages are. The second half of the presentation will detail how the API is being adopted in microservices at the company Halliburton which is an Oil and Gas company.
