Working in software since more than 20 years, David has contributed, in the last 10 years, to various open-source projects around software development tools: first in the Quality Analysis domain on SonarQube, and later in Language and IDE development, bootstrapping the IDE support of the Ceylon language.
He became a Ceylon core team member for several years and, among other tasks, developed and maintained the Eclipse and IntelliJ plugins.
Now working for Red Hat on Cloud development tools, he is an active contributor on Eclipse Che, where he now focuses on leveraging Kubernetes Operators.
Melanie Bats

Melanie Bats works as CTO at Obeo. In my daily work, I am mainly focused on managing the R&D team, creating products based on our own open source technologies. I am used to work in the development of modeling tools with Sirius like UML Designer. I am committer for the EEF and the Sirius projects. I am also involved in the Eclipse community as being the Eclipse Planning Council chair. I am also a free software activist who has organized and participated in free software events in the Toulouse area.

A Java Champion since 2017, international speaker and teacher at Salle URL University, he has talked about new testing techniques for microservices and continuous delivery in the 21st century.

He therefore helps people and teams to do their best work, continuously learn and improve. In 2017 Huib won the MIATPP Award. Huib works for De Agile Testers, a provider of consultancy and training.
