Kai Kreuzer is a Java and OSGi expert, a Home Automation enthusiast, founder of openHAB.org, project lead of Eclipse SmartHome and co-lead of the Eclipse IoT top-level project. He works as a Developer Evangelist in the Connected Home department of Deutsche Telekom AG and is a regular speaker at international conferences.
Lars Vogel is the founder and CEO of the vogella GmbH company. He is one of the core developers of the Eclipse platform project and a contributor a several other Eclipse projects. He loves to share his knowledge by writing online tutorials and book and is a regular speaker at international conferences.
Tim Winselmann is a developer, IoT Solution Architect, problem solver and trainer at BREDEX GmbH. He is the technical lead for the IoT working group at the company, and can usually be found surrounded by cables, Raspberry Pis and microcontrollers. He has an affinity for testing and quality, and works closely with the testers in the company and in his projects. Wayne is the Director of Open Source Projects at the Eclipse Foundation. He started writing software in 1983 on an Apple ][+, learned object-oriented programming and Smalltalk in 1987, and was an early adopter of Java. Wayne is a content review committee member for Devoxx and JavaOne, is a long time contributor to Eclipse open source projects, and regular presenter at JavaOne, JavaPolis/Devoxx, JAX, and EclipseCon.
Sebastian is an independent consultant from Berlin. Actively contributing to Eclipse for more than 10 years now, he has specialised in model driven development and domain specific languages. As one of the architects behind the Xtext framework and the Xtend programming language, his strong focus is on efficient developer tooling and productivity. Being a framework developer, Sebastian is especially keen on clean abstractions, encapsulation and separation of concerns. He is a regular speaker on conferences.
