We are a group of scientists/researchers and Eclipse enthusiasts. This meeting gives us the chance to explore the tools we use and the software that is built using Eclipse technologies. Current and future developments will be discussed, e.g. January and the usage of deeplearning4j, which has become an official Eclipse project. Moreover, Eclipse is involved in several governmental funded research projects.
After a brief presentation of some interesting projects, we will let the stage to an informal discussion where Agora participants can network and discover new synergies among Eclipse groups and communities.
Some of the topics of discussion will be
- How can we help Research and Science projects to open source their code?
- How could we join Physics or Chemistry EU research projects? Would it make sense?
- How could we join Geospatial-related EU research projects? Would it make sense?
You are more then welcome to join!
