Elliotte Rusty Harold is originally from New Orleans to which he returns periodically in search of a decent bowl of gumbo. He is the author of numerous books about software development, most recently the JavaMail API from O'Reilly.
Dr. Jonas Helming is General Manager of EclipseSource Munich as well as consultant, trainer and software engineer. His focus is on Tools, IDEs, Modeling, web-based Tools and Eclipse 4. Besides many articles he published a book about the Eclipse SDK. Jonas is an active member of the Eclipse community. He has the lead of two Eclipse projects and is involved in many others, such as e4. In 2013, he won the Eclipse Top-Newcomer Evangelist award. He regularly speaks at conferences such as Jax, OOP, WJax and EclipseCon.
Robert is a computer science researcher for automotive engineering projects. Currently lecturing the distributed and parallel systems course at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, he works on diverse activities together with students and is further involved in several international ITEA projects since 2011 with partners from industry and academia. Luckily, he was given the opportunity to mentor two GSoC projects together with Eclipse.
Robert is a committer for Eclipse APP4MC since 2015 and has the co-project lead for Eclipse Kuksa since 2017.
Etienne Juliot is co-founder and vice president of Obeo, a software editor focus on Model Driven solutions. He is a senior software architect with a strong experience on IT and embedded systems architecture. He is a member of the board of directors of the Eclipse Foundation and is involved in several Eclipse projects (Sirius, Acceleo, EMF Compare, UML Generators, Mylyn, ...) and seats on the steering committee for PolarSys.
Finally, he manages international and strategic collaborations with large companies on system engineering and enterprise architecture needs.
James Kirkland is the Chief Architect for Red Hat's initiatives and solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT).
James serves as the lead subject matter expert and global team lead of system architects responsible for accelerating IoT implementations for customers worldwide. James also helps integrate product strategy with customer and product needs across Red Hat and partner product lines. James is a member of the Eclipse IoT working group’s steering committee and is a frequent public speaker and author.
Maximilian is deeply involved with the Eclipse community. He is project lead and committer on several projects, and serves on the Eclipse Architecture Council.

Felix Kuperjans is technical lead of the Testbirds Device Cloud. He is responsible for the development of the virtual device infrastructure. Felix has many years of experience in the context of virtualization and server infrastructure. He studied computer science at the TU München and has been working as freelancer before he joined Testbirds.
Nicola La Gloria, is a serial entrepreneur. Cofounder and CEO of Kynetics, an IoT full stack development company.
He works primarily on IoT architectures, embracing both embedded and backend development.
Nicola led the development of the OS and app store for one of the first Android smart watches and he is co-founder of the Warpx.io community (http://www.warpx.io) which develops a reference design of a small footprint single board computer for IoT and wearable applications.
