Etienne Juliot, Obeo
Obeo's mission is to help engineers efficiently collaborate on the design of smart products for both IT and industry and EclipseCon Europe is the perfect place to share about this goal! As I use to say (and feel!) the Eclipse family is ours. As family members, we are looking forward to family meetings such as EclipseCon EU where, once again, the Obeo team will be deeply involved with 5 talks, 1 tutorial, and a booth.
Of course, we are excited to present and get your feedback on new features in Eclipse Sirius. Meet us at our booth to get a demo. And if you rather want to try Sirius by yourself (and create a graphical modeling editor for a robot), enjoy our tutorial.
Since at Obeo, we like being serious with a little touch of fun, we will also bring our robots to the EclipseCon IoT Playground: come to play with them and try to win the fight!
At EclipseCon EU speakers and attendees come with a lot of new ideas and initiatives… for sure, 2016 will be an exciting edition. May these family moments keep going for a long time!
Frederic Ebelshäuser, Yatta Solutions
EclipseCon Europe is and has always been a great place to meet up with the community, to exchange with experts, and talk about trends, innovations, and new ideas. At EclipseCon everyone works together for a common goal: to keep the IDE competitive and to create new potential for growth to benefit everyone. We are happy to be part of EclipseCon Europe once again in 2016.
Yatta is a software engineering company. We are dedicated software engineers, tool developers as well as Eclipse and Java Enthusiasts. Yatta has been an Eclipse Solutions Member since 2011. As a team, we actively contribute to the Eclipse open source community and to several Eclipse open-source projects including Oomph, Xpand and the Eclipse Marketplace Client.
EclipseCon is where we shape the future of Eclipse as a community, and personally, I’m happy to be part of this. I’m looking forward to one-on-one talks about the latest features of Yatta Profiles for Eclipse and about trends and innovations in the Eclipse community and ecosystem.
Markus Duft, SSI SCHAEFER Group
EclipseCon has been a great source of information for us over the past few years. We are using the Eclipse IDE (a quite customized/extended one) to develop Eclipse RCP applications, so the conference has always been a double win for us. Taking into account that not only the talks are great, but also the networking and discussion possibilities are endless, makes the conference well worth for us.
We are developing an intralogistics software that is in use in very large scale warehouses around the world. The application is composed of a handful of RCP applications with millions of lines of code in hundreds of bundles. Even more interesting for conference attendees are our customizations for the IDE, which we are currently longing to open source and make part of the Eclipse ecosystem. If you want to know more, feel free to come and visit my talk about it: "Succeed with Eclipse: Large Scale" - Silchersaal - Tuesday at 2 p.m.
This year, we are proud to be a sponsor of the conference and we really hope that it will continue to flourish in the way it did in the past!
Pascal Brusset, Liferay
As Strategic Members of the OSGi Alliance, Liferay is proud to sponsor the OSGi Community Event again and to be among the Eclipse community. OSGi is a very important technology for us and this event is a key place to interact with OSGi technology experts and users.
Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP) is an open source platform that transitioned to an entirely modular architecture with our most recent release. We're proud to share the journey to going modular as it has been quite eye-opening. Join us for two sessions given by Milen Dyankov, "OSGi for Outsiders" and Ray Augé, "From JARs to Bundles to Resolutions to Knowledge". And be sure to visit the Liferay booth #15 for a demo."
Manon Midy, Enalean
For the second time this year, the Tuleap Team is happy to meet Eclipse Community members at Eclipsecon Europe in October. After many demonstrations of Tuleap at Toulouse (as well as good macarons :), we have the chance to share and exchange with new people in Germany.
What’s big at the Tuleap booth?
- Tuleap 9 will be just released. Tuleap 9 is Agility beyonds post-its! How? It comes with powerful new agile environments. Easy to set up, they are integrated with the whole development lifecycle, from your Kanban board or Scrum workspace, to planning releases. You can manage your workload better and deliver awesome code faster.
- All of this is on the new platform available for Eclipse projects tuleap.eclipse.org. You can see a demo on our booth or stop by Manuel Vacelet's talk "Your Agile project at Eclipse with Tuleap" on Thursday 27 October at 13:00.
See you there!
