Robert Andres has worked in the IT and Communications industry since 1987. His IT career began at Digital Equipment Corporation in customer service, technical training and data centre operations, where he quickly discovered his passion for networking and distributed systems.
Mr. Andres spent several years at 3Com Corporation GmbH in Product Management and as Marketing Director where he was a member of the 3Com Executive Board in charge of Central Europe. In 1997 he became Marketing Director for the Client Access Business Unit in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Since 1999 Mr. Andres has supported businesses in marketing, consulting, sales strategies, business development, and training, particularly in the fields of embedded, networking, M2M/IoT, and IT security. From 2010, Mr. Andres has worked as the Chief Marketing Officer for the Eurotech Group, where IoT hardware and software strategy is part of his responsibilities.

Melanie Bats works as a software developer at Obeo. In her daily work, she is mainly focused on the development of modeling tools with Sirius (UML Designer). Stephane Begaudeau graduated from the Nantes University of Sciences and Technology (France) and is currently working as an Eclipse Modeling consultant in France at Obeo, a strategic member of the Eclipse Foundation.

Francis Bordeleau is Product Manager in the Software Development group at Ericsson. His main areas of responsibilities include model-based engineering and modeling tools. In this role, he is responsible for defining product specification and roadmap, developing business cases, managing budget, managing open source initiatives, and collaborating with other companies, researchers, and academia. He is also the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Eclipse Papyrus Industry Consortium.
Francis has over 20 years of experience in MBE and software engineering; researching, working, consulting, and collaborating with numerous companies worldwide. Prior to joining Ericsson in May 2013, Francis was the Founder and CEO of Zeligsoft from 2003 to 2013, a provider of domain specific Model Based Engineering (MBE) tooling solutions for distributed real-time embedded systems, and Director of Tooling Business for PrismTech from 2010 to 2013. He was also an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science of Carleton University from 1997 to 2006.
Francis holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from University of Montreal (1989), a Bachelor of Computer Science from University of Quebec (1991), and a Master in Computer Science (1993) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (1999) from Carleton University.
Dejan Bosanac is a senior software engineer at Red Hat with the deep expertise in messaging and integration technologies. He's been active member of open source communities for many years and a contributor to various projects, like Apache ActiveMQ and Eclipse Hono. His latest interests revolve around providing scalable connectivity and messaging solutions for IoT applications.
Walt Bowers is a Technical Solutions Architect and technology evangelist focused on the Internet of Things, Java and OSGi. He enjoys engineering solutions to complex problems and has a particular interest in intelligent IoT gateways and edge analytics. He is a committer on the Eclipse Kura IoT project and a member of the OSGi Alliance IoT Expert Group. Walt has been involved with Java since 1996 and has extensive experience in Java , OSGiand IoT in wide range of roles including developer, development manager and product manager. Walt has a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Georgia and over 25 years of experience in software engineering.
