Moving our applications to the cloud has offered useful innovations and advantageous characteristics, including flexibility, dynamic scaling, and increased resiliency. However… it’s not all been sunshine and roses. Moving to the cloud can be hard and frustrating! As developers, we’re now dealing with an ever-changing and ever more complex landscape with new tools, technologies, and features to skill up on almost every week! Add to this, the growing list of responsibilities and tasks stemming from the demands of agile and continuous delivery that is placed on the shoulders of dev teams, and it becomes overwhelming! So, what can we do about it? In this session, we’ll explore the tools and technologies that could help us better equip ourselves for the struggles of the modern cloud-native Java developer and analyse what the future of this development may look like.

Objective of the presentation:
Cover useful tools and IDE extensions and plugins that can help audience members with cloud native Java apps.
