Prouvost Olivier

Anyware Technologies has developed the Medany platform, an eRCP based platform for development of mobile solution which permits easy data acquisition. This platform is composed of two parts : tools and runtime.

The goal of this talk is to show how the Eclipse technologies (EMF, OpenArchitectureWare) have been used to design and generate all the requested applications (eRCP, web, synchro).
A graphical editor (based on the Topcased project) and a full development cycle (from model to eRCP and web applications) will be shown.
It will point out the power of the eclipse platform for embedded applications and for advanced developer tools.

The platform has been successfully used to generate medical applications, or supervision applications for technician working on ecluses.
This will show the different applications that can be generated with a generic EMF based platform.

Olivier Prouvost is a co-founder of Anyware Technologies, a French software company based in Toulouse (France), which is deeply involved in the Eclipse technology and its eco-system. Today, he is working on projects using the eRCP and EMF platforms and, in parallel, he diffuses his Eclipse knowledge by giving training or consulting on Eclipse technology
