Here at JBoss, a division of Red Hat, we are changing our application server's JMX kernel with plain POJO kernel == MicroContainer (MC).
When reading through the JSR-291 we can already see a lot of similar things as we already did with MC, so integrating this with a spec would be even better. Our base usecase regarding OSGi is integration with bundle's class loading structure and our existing Deployers architecture. And on top of this, similar to Springframework, binding our MC beans / services with OSGi's. Our integration uses existing OSGi frameworks and services, and simply adds additional POJO + AOP notion on top.
Talk would present our progress on this integration and some test cases.
