The Eclipse Swordfish project aims to provide an extensible OSGi-based framework for the development of service-oriented applications. Having been around for some time now, Swordfish is on its way to reaching maturity. Over the last few months, the Swordfish team has spent a fair amount of effort on improving, real-world testing and stabilizing the framework\'s APIs. In this session I\'m going to present the current state of the framework, the new features we\'ve added with the Helios release and give an outlook on how we expect the framework to evolve in the future.

Zsolt Beothy-Elo is a developer at SOPERA located in Bonn, Germany. He has been working on the implementation of service-oriented infrastructures for over 9 years now. Currently he is responsible for the registry and repository components of the SOPERA platform. He is co-lead of the Eclipse Swordfish project and leads the PMC Eclipse SOA Platform Project.
