Embedded · Poster

This talk has been accepted but has not yet been assigned a time slot.

In our poster we will show an OSGi provisioning system on Google's AppEngine in the cloud. The application contains an application appstore, a remote OSGi console and a device presence monitor for registered equinox-enabled, connected devices. The system was developed using the Google Eclipse plugIn, Google AppEngine SDK, GWT, Google Datastore and Google Visualization on the serverside and Eclipse equinox on the client, the device side. During the poster session we want to discuss new ideas and possibilities arising with cloud computing and share our experiences made when developing such a system.

Marcus Harringer is a software engineer and consultant at MicroDoc GmbH in Munich focusing on embedded Java and OSGi development. Marcus was involved in the introduction of TDD within the MicroDoc development process. Marcus holds a Dipl.Inf degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Salzburg/Austria.
