The Model Execution Framework (MXF) has recently been started under the umbrella of EMFT as a generic framework for execution semantics in EMF models. Beside a common infrastructure for model execution, MXF supports editing, simulation and debugging of executable models and strives for an integration with GMF editors. This talk gives an overview of the project, its architecture and recent achievements in the initial code base.
