Learn about Facelets support in Eclipse with a demo of features provided by the JSF Tools Project for Eclipse. Features include validation, content-assist and hyperlink support for Facelets web pages.
Facelets is a development framework that builds on JavaServer Faces (JSF) and has generated a lot of community excitement. It will form the basis for many of the new features in JSF 2.0. Facelets brings powerful features to J2EE/JavaEE web development, such as templating, easy UI component creation, and improved runtime debugging.
The JSF Tools Project for Eclipse has added support for Facelets in Gaynmede with a preview release of features hosted by the Web Tools Project (WTP) incubator.
The JSF Tools Project is a WTP sub-project focused on adding framework and exemplary tooling for JSF. JavaServer Faces is a J2EE/JavaEE standard for creating rich, component-driven, web UI.
