Dali 1.0 includes a number of new and noteworthy features, including support for mapping in XML (instead of, or in conjunction with, annotations), Data Tools Platform and Web Tools Platform integration, and a pluggable JPA runtime platform architecture. This session will provide an overview of the features of Dali 1.0 and will demonstrate how to use Dali to build JPA applications for deployment into Java SE, EE, and Spring environments. Topics include: project creation and configuration, mapping using annotations and/or XML, and deployment scenarios (EAR, WAR, JAR). Well also look at the project roadmap and where Dali is heading in Ganymede.
