DSDP/DD project is heading for a 1.0 release in June of '08. This talk will give a brief overview of the project history and its community, but it will mostly concentrate on what to expect in the 1.0 release. This includes:
  • Debugger Services Framework (DSF) getting completed and APIs finalized
  • GDB/MI protocol-based debugger back end, debugger implemenation framework
  • Debugger implementation for GDB on Linux.
  • IP/EXACT editor.
The talk will also include a demo of the DSF-based GDB debugger.

Pawel is the project Manager for the Device Debugging Project and the architect of the Debugger Services Framework (DSF). At Wind River Systems he has been developing an Eclipse-based debugger over the last four years.
