The talk starts with a brief overview of the specific topics covered by the solution. We will present the system and its architecture, talk about the recent state of the system and provide some helpful technical hints for similar applications. We will discuss our plans to shift specific J2EE-based components to OSGi/Spring. In the second part we will talk about our efforts for the vertical market Banking and Finance within the Eclipse community.
Aleksey Aristov works for WeigleWilczek GmbH as a chief software architect. With more then 10 years of professional software development experience, he is a competent specialist in the field of enterprise software. Most of his last projects are combinations of J2EE architectures and Eclipse RCP based front-ends. Aleksey is a certified JBoss consultant, ACM member, and one of the Eclipse Training Alliance trainers. In his spare time, he investigates possibilities of using markup languages for rich client development and leads RCML (Rich Client Markup Language) open source project.
Frederic Conrotte is a software architect working in Kaupthing Bank Luxembourgs Financial Market Department. He has been working for several financial institutions for about 7 years, and is currently working on OFMP projects technical and functional implementation aspects.
