How to get a UML model to UML model to run by itself
Everyone has tried modelling at some point.
Many have been discouraged by the complexity of UML.
Few have been overwhelmed by the code generated from UML models.
But what if we could simplify UML for the purpose of generating code?
And what if this code could compile and run with no modifications?
This workshop will take you through just such an exercise.
During the workshop, you will use the capabilities that are part of the new Papyrus for Real Time project to learn about this simplified, UML-based approach and language to create a simple, executable application. You will create a constrained UML model containing both structure and behaviour, and then you will run the code generated from the model you created.
If you are interested in understanding how executable modelling can help you with a concrete example, than this tutorial is for you!
