Poster Sessions

What new stuff is happening in Eclipse? Find out by visiting the Poster Sessions! Look for the posters inside Bürgersaal 1 near the entrance doors.

Science Working Group - Wednesday, 10:00 - 13:00

The posters will show how Eclipse RCP is used as a framework and a rich front end within a broad range of different scientific topics. A variety of research facilities and companies use the Eclipse platform to simulate and visualize their results within a specific scope. The poster session demonstrates impressively that the Eclipse RCP technology is an important part of the scientific/research community. Moreover, it is a fantastic and interesting area for developers (especially for those at the EclipseCon Europe) who like to experience something completely new. Science isn't as boring as it seems :-)! A small selection of projects will present a poster. More information is available here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Science_IWG.

Long Term Support Working Group - Wednesday, 15:00 - 18:00

Eclipse Long Term Support provides a business model for maintenance providers and consumers. In this poster session we want to show you how your Eclipse expertise may pay off if you join the working group as a maintenance provider. On the other hand, if you are suffering from bugs in older Eclipse releases, we would like to introduce you to providers that can deliver solutions for your problem.

New Eclipse Projects - Thursday, 10:00 - 13:00

Come and see some of the newest Eclipse and PolarSys projects! We have assembled some of the new and exciting projects that have joined Eclipse in 2013 into this poster session. Come and meet with the project committers, and learn about the innovative technology being developed at Eclipse.
