Cédric Brun, CTO at Obeo, member of the Eclipse Modeling PMC, Architecture and Planning councils, project lead of EMF Compare, Amalgam, commiter on Acceleo and Mylyn Intent. Strive to build great products in Eclipse and on Eclipse.
Here are his suggested talks:
- Orion - a browser based tools integration platform: The whole Orion initiative is pretty exciting : using the web as a tool platform. The Eclipse platform enabled the integration of different tools in a single environment, I'm looking forward to learn more about the Orion vision regarding services and tools integration.
- GEFGWT: GEF in JavaScript, in the browser, on the iPad: GEF is one of the key enabler for ergonomic and nice looking graphical modelers in Eclipse. I'm curious to learn more about how it behave within web browsers.
- Wikileaking Eclipse Modeling - Spilling the beans on how industry uses EMF based tooling successfully!: Acceleo, ATL, Xtext : having experience reports from industrials is a key aspect of Eclipse Con Europe. You get to learn how they used Eclipse projects, what challenges were to overcome and what benefit they got in the end. Furthermore, being a provider of some of these components it's always a good source of feedback to me.
- Harvesting the power of Eclipse 4 Context Functions: An in-depth talk about one very specific yet very powerful aspect of the Eclipse 4 platform. Eclipse 4 is here, it's time to unleash its potential.
- Effective Mockito in a modular world: We want to build modular applications and we want to test them. Mockito is very popular and I expect to learn things which will be applicable right away in my team.
