Lars Vogel is the founder and CEO of the vogella GmbH and works as Eclipse and Android consultant, trainer and book author. He is a regular speaker at international conferences, as for example EclipseCon, Devoxx, Droidcon and O'Reilly's Android Open. With more than one million visitors per month his website vogella.com is one of the central sources for Eclipse and Android programming information. Lars is Committer in the Eclipse 4 project and received in 2010 the "Eclipse Top Contributor Award" and 2012 the "Eclipse Top Newcomer Evangelist Award". In 2012 received the Java Champion title.

I think given the advanced programming concepts available with Eclipse 4 it is important for Eclipse 3.x plug-in developers to start migrating their technical components to Eclipse 4. I'm sure Paul will give great advice for this. - Scaling Up JGit
Sounds like a great peek into the infrastructure which runs Google and how Google handles these issues.
