Create your own coding rules in Sonar

Session Type:
Tutorial [3 hours]
Speakers

Sonar, open source platform to manage quality, has become very popular. It enables to get rapid feedback on code quality when writing applications by showing issues directly in Eclipse. But did you know that you can write your own rules to add on the checks built in the tool ?

In this training, you will learn how to write new coding for Java and C. This will be first done using XPath expressions and thereafter using java code for more complex rules. I will show how to include those rules in Sonar to augment the scope of inspections.
