Continuous Inspection with Sonar
With Agile Methodology, source code is very much in the center of focus as being an element that must mute constantly over time to be able to keep embracing changes. This key capability to refactor the source code at any point of time is so important that the Technical Debt metaphor was early introduced by Agile practitioners. To sustain a continuous delivery approach, it is necessary to continuously manage technical debt and avoid to look at it after the fact.
This talk will show the difference between quality gate and continuous inspection for improving code quality and why the latter will be bring more value to teams. I will then show how Sonar / Eclipse and MyLyn can support this approach.
