Agile user experience design - tracking progress sprint by sprint

Session Type:
Standard [35 minutes]
Speakers

User Experience is becoming increasingly important for a software delivery. How do we know its status at a particular point in time (e.g., iterations, sprints) in a software project, and how do we report it to the team and stateholders? This presentation describes a methodology for reporting the user experience status of a software delivery with a regularity that matches the cadence of the project. The method involves defining user experience areas that are strategic for the product or organization, identifying and benchmarking the critical user tasks within those areas that are in-plan for a given release, and breaking down those tasks into more fine-grained subtasks whose status is measurable and can be aggregated and matched againt the benchmarks.
