EclipseCon 2011 Sponsored Talk Submissions
If you are an EclipseCon 2011 exhibitor with a sponsor package that includes speaking slots in the program, here are your options for submitting your sponsored talks.
Please note: If you want your talk title and talk presenters included in the conference printed program, your talks must be submitted by February 11, 2011.

2011 Submission System
Option 1: If you had a regular talk declined by the program committee
If you would like to give your declined talk as a sponsored talk, simply email us the session number of your declined talk (see your submission system email for the talk number), indicate your day and time preference, and we'll add it to the program. We will try to honor your preferred time and date, but we cannot guarantee that.
Option 2: If you want us to submit your talk for you
If the Submission System seems a bit daunting, just email us your talk details, and we will use the Submission System to enter your talk. It's best to align your talk lengths with the regular program, so we suggest a talk length of 20 minutes (a Standard Talk), 40 minutes (an Extended Talk), or two hours (a Tutorial). You may combine 20-minute slots to make longer slots, but again, we strongly recommend that you align your talk start-times and stop-times with the rest of the program. Here's what to send for each talk:
- talk length (minutes)
- talk title
- presenter name(s)
- talk abstract
- presenter bio(s)
- presenter photo(s)
Option 3: If you want to use the Submission System to submit your talk
This method is preferred, especially if you want to be able to edit your talk and abstract on the fly! Here's how to submit:
- Go to https://www.eclipsecon.org/submissions/2011/
- Create an account, or log in using an existing Bugzilla account
- Click "Submit a talk to ECon 2011"
- Enter the Title and Abstract. Choose "Sponsored" as the type. Choose the appropriate Category and Difficulty (just guess if you aren't sure). Link Slides or Files if you have them, and then click "Submit." Then email us to let us know that you've submitted. It's helpful if you include the four-digit session number in your email -- the Submission System displays it to the left of the Title after you click on "Submit."
