You have created an Eclipse project or another open source project, now how do you create a community. What should and should you not do to get users, adopters and future committers interested in your project. This presentation will present some of the best practices for creating a great community for an open source project. We will look at some examples from successful and unsuccessful Eclipse projects.

Ian Skerrett is the Director of Marketing for the Eclipse Foundation. He helps promote the great technology built by the Eclipse projects.
