Discounts

All registration discounts are provided through coupon codes. If you expect a discount, please do not register before you have your coupon code.

Speakers

EclipseCon 2011 speakers receive a discount on registration. If you have submitted a talk, please do not register until you know the status of your submissions. Speaker discounts are implemented via coupon codes; speakers must use the Discount Calculator to get the code. Speaker discounts may not be combined with member, committer, alumni, OSGi, or group discounts.

To register as a Speaker:

Please sign your Speaker Agreement before registering; your "talk accepted" auto-email from the Submission System contains a link to the online agreement.
If you have co-presenters, only one of you may use the speaker discount associated with your shared talk. Please decide among yourselves who will use the discount for each accepted talk.
Before registering, please note the talk numbers for which you are using the discount.
Go to the Discount Calculator, enter the talk numbers for which you are using the discount, and your email address. Then follow the instructions there.

If you are a Speaker and you register without using the Discount Calculator, please choose the "Speaker" role when registering.

Alumni

If you have attended a previous Eclipse Summit Europe or EclipseCon, you qualify for an alumni discount. Welcome back! When registering, choose "All Access Pass" and enter coupon code ALUMNI.

Eclipse Members and Committers

Eclipse members and committers qualify for a thanks-for-being-a-member-or-committer discount. When registering, choose "All Access Pass" and enter coupon code MEMBER or COMMITTER.

OSGi Members

If you are an OSGi member, you qualify for the OSGi discount. When registering, choose "All Access Pass" and enter coupon code OSGI.

Press & Analysts

Pre-qualified press & analysts are provided free conference registrations. To be qualified or for more information, please contact us. Please do not register until you receive approval and a coupon code. When registering with a press coupon code, please choose "All Access Pass."

Student and Faculty

A limited number of student discounts are available for full-time college and university students, including free passes for students who assist tutorial presenters. Please email us for more information. When registering with a student coupon code, please choose "All Access Pass." We also offer discounts to university faculty; please email us for more information.

Government

Employees of government agencies are eligible for the same discount as Eclipse members and committers. To receive a coupon code for this discount, please email us.

Groups

We are happy to offer group discounts for five or more people from the same organization. Please email us for more information. Note that group discounts are not combinable with other discounts (speaker, alumni, etc.) and apply to the current price of an All Access Pass. People from the same organization registering with another discount, such as speakers, do not count toward the group total.

Discount Policy

Please note: Only one type of discount per person (we'll give you the maximum discount possible). All discount registrations are provided through coupon codes. Speakers should use the Discount Calculator when registering (see above). If you are expecting a discount, please do not register before you have your coupon code.

Exhibits Only

An Exhibits Only pass provides access to the Exhibit Area on the Hyatt Mezzanine, to the sponsor Presentation Rooms, and to conference receptions. It does not include access to the regular (non-sponsored) sessions, keynotes, lunches, etc. Please be sure to select the "Exhibits Only" role when registering.

Attendee-to-Attendee Personal Behavior Policy

EclipseCon is a professional conference, and hence attendees are required to act professionally. Without codifying a comprehensive list of what is and is not allowed, a good rule of thumb is that you should behave toward other attendees as you would be required to behave toward your coworkers by a typical employer, i.e. respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, or other inappropriate behaviour (at the discretion of the conference organizers) of any kind will not be tolerated, and will be grounds for ejection from the conference.
