Conference at a Glance
Ecosystem Appeal
EclipseCon is a broad conference - it spans the breadth and depth of the Eclipse ecosystem. The complete list of sessions and events is overwhelming at first glance. The conference is arranged over four days with hudreds of Talks, Tutorials, Panels and BOFs.

Projected Participation & Demographics
EclipseCon 2009 had a thousand attendees even during the toughest economic travel conditions in a decade. We had approximately 1300 attendees in 2008 and 2007. We are being conservative with our 2010 planning but would not be surprised to have a similar sized crowd in 2010.

EclipseCon - A Conference "The Eclipse Way"
EclipseCon is organized to be open, transparent and egalitarian:
- Conference produced by the Eclipse Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation supporting the Eclipse Ecosystem.
- Independent Program Committee chaired by Oisin Hurley, Progress Software.
- Exhibit Hall makes use of pre-configured sponsor locations, providing a level playing for sponsors.

The following addons are available to all sponsors on a first-come-first-served basis:

| Exclusive Lunch Sponsorship. Includes signage, designation in program and "Logo Tent Card" on each lunch table. | $2,500 (4 available, one each day) |

| EclipseCon Exercise Event. Quickly becoming an annual tradition, our committers have organized a morning fitness activity to kick start each morning of the conference. | Speaker Feedback Sponsor. EclipseCon attendees will be given an option to quickly provide feedback after every session they attend on a feedback card. Your logo and short text prominently displayed on the Speaker Feedback forms - and right to use any collected email addresses. Session Feedback via web will be supported with live web results available at sponsor's booth. | $3,000 for Sponsorship of voting cards. $3,000 for Sponsorship of web and exclusive hosting of live results in your booth. $5,000 for both. Sponsor Passes Policy
We realize that every sponsor has different objectives and plans for EclipseCon and we strive to be as accomodating as possible. There are two kinds of passes available to sponsors:
- Full Conference Passes allow individuals to attend all sessions, keynotes, meals, receptions and activities.
- Exbhits-Only passes allow individuals to be present in the exhibit hall, sponsored presentations, and the receptions only.
Conference Presentation Room Details
Schedule the use of your room through the day however you wish, and details will be included in official conference schedule (deadline for inclusion in Printed Program is January 31, 2010). Some examples:
- Schedule long talks in synch with regular conference program
- Schedule 2-hour hands-on tutorials
- Schedule demos of your products
- Host a "meet the team" social reception with afternoon coffee service
- Or, do all of the above!
Additional Considerations:
- Room sizes vary from 528 to 936 square feet - available first come, first served
- Room is set theater style; project/screen included
- Gold Sponsors Only:
- All catering (F&B) and any additional AV setup available for fee with hotel
- Room may be reset during day for small fee with hotel
- Room can be used for BOF/reception in evening
- Max 4 rooms per day Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - First Come, First Served!
- All staff working in your presentation room must be registered with the conference. This means they must be using one of the multiple free passes that come with your package, have paid for their pass using one of the multiple 40% discount coupons, paid regular price for their pass, or have otherwise secured a pass as a speaker in the general program as chosen by the program committee.
To minimize overlap:
- Max 4 Gold Sponsors per day Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - First Come, First Served!
- Max 1 Silver Sponsor per 2 hour time slot, per day
