Open Source Ambient Intelligence Commons - OSamI is an ITEA 2 (http://www.itea2.org/) sponsored European project that is underway to provide open-source common foundations for a dynamic service-oriented platform which is able to personalise itself in large diversity of co-operating software-intensive systems (SISs). The ambient intelligence can be defined as an automated service system embedding the devices in converging networks. The ambient-intelligence platform will be able to personalise itself dynamically in devices according to the context.

OSGi is in the hearth of OSamI technologies and services.  This talk will present the suite of integrated tools that are being developed to support building these applications and OSGi application development in general.  OSamI Tools extends the Eclipse PDE and Eclipse based service creation tools to provide a  general purpose OSGi development environment.
