OSDE is an open-sourced eclipse plugin for developing OpenSocial gadgets.

OpenSocial defines a common API for social applications across multiple websites. With standard JavaScript and HTML, developers can create apps that access a social network's friends and update feeds. OpenSocial is currently supported by many websites such as iGoogle, Mixi, MySpace, Hi5, LinkedIn, Orkut, Friendster, and etc.

This talk will explain in details what OpenSocial gadgets are and demonstrate how to use OSDE Eclipse plugin to develop OpenSocial gadgets.
