Part I: Functional Testing of Eclipse-Based Products

Functional Testing is the essential part of software development life cycle. As a consulting company focused on eclipse we constantly receive requests from our clients to suggest a good functional (UI) testing tool. A number of good products exists on the market, but still it is often a challenge to choose the right tool for the job for one or another reason.

During this session we will walk through a few different scenarios and provide a quick comparative analysis of existing tools in the context of eclipse-based project. Finally we'll try to give some insights in what a specialized testing tool for eclipse-based products could be. In the end we will give a roadmap for developers to choose the tool that better suits their needs.
