SWT resources do need to be well-managed within Java. Unfortunately, the Garbage Collector cannot really do it all.
In this talk, we will share with you some rules to avoid the “SWT Error : no more handles”.
A demo will show you how to use Sleak on your own RCP application:
- enable Sleak: trace options and view,
- detect handle leaks,
- target the responsible source code,
- fix handle leaks.

Prior to BonitaSoft, he was head of the Bonita core development team within Bull and has significant experience developing critical application with Business Process Management and Service Oriented Architecture technologies.
Charles holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Polytech' Grenoble (France).
