This talk will focus on the many factors that one needs to consider when using software that you do not develop from scratch. What license applies, the terms of that license and compatibility with your intended use is a starting point. Digging further, you need to determine how that license attached itself to the code. This will need to be considered not just for the point in time that you license the software but over the lifetime of the project. This talk will also address the complexities of nesting and how that impacts this kind of review.
