Eclipse embedded Rich Client Platform (eRCP) allows developers to use the existing Eclipse application model to create software the runs on devices. This tutorial introduces eRCP to the developer. The tutorial will get you started with typical eRCP application development process and will explore more advanced topics like how to device proof your user interfaces, and using OSGi services with eRCP. A short overview of eRCP, its components and architecture including how it is related to RCP will be presented. This tutorial will include coding exercises that shows how to get started building eRCP applications using the eclipse PDE, and how to deploy your applications to devices.
