The Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) project is part of the Eclipse framework that provides infrastructure and tools to design, develop and deploy report content to your Java/RCP/Java EE application. This tutorial will cover both the Design Engine and Runtime Engine APIs of the BIRT framework. A particular focus will be on the integration of BIRT into your existing application infrastructure.

He has been an active user of Eclipse technology since 2002, and joined the BIRT Project Management Committee in November of 2004. Mr. Rosenbaum holds a Bachelor of Science degree from General Motors Institute. He has spent the last 20 years working on business intelligence solutions for the insurance, banking, healthcare, retail sales and automotive industries.
