JBoss Tools is an opensource project developed at JBoss.org. The IDE has all the basic features of Eclipse WebTools and adds additional support for many of the JBoss related technologies such as JBoss AS, Hibernate, Seam, JSF, JBPM, etc.

It plays a major role in JBoss Developer Studio which is the new Eclipse based IDE that JBoss is offering under subscription.

JBoss Tools and JBoss Developer Studio will be the focus point of our introduction and live demo in this talk. The demonstration will cover items from Seam project creation, Visual JSF page editing, incremental deployment and hibernate query prototyping.

Max Rydahl Andersen have been employed by JBoss, a division of Red Hat, since September 2004 working as developer and consultant. He is a long time member of the Hibernate Team, developing on the core and the toolset. Today he is mostly working on JBoss Tools/JBoss Developer Studio and Seam. Before joining JBoss, Max worked as a project lead and developer for a company working with large scale health care solutions.
